Solidigm officially formed in December of last year as part of the larger Intel-SK hynix deal that found SK hynix buying Intel’s NAND and SSD business. Solidigm is a subsidiary of SK hynix, a company that has recently brought out two excellent SSDs: the Gold P31 and the Platinum P41.

    Heat. Sure long delivery but for the price, performance and the reliability (given how dodgey so many nvme drives/brands are) it's unmatchable. Think people write off solidigim as an unknown brand without realising it's an offshoot from intel/SK hynix, two well respected names in SSD market. (edited)

    I think most people do know this is a great drive. But you don't see as many discounts on it in the UK compared to some of the other manufacturers

    I almost bought the WD Black SN850X, but then saw this post of the excellent Solidigm P44 Pro SSD and bought the 2TB version instead from CCL on eBay using the 15% off eBay discount code.
