I've had email. Only applies if you want same day delivery. Otherwise it's as before (i.e.free)

    Dear Prime Member,

As we invest to improve our Same-Day delivery service we are writing to let you know about an update to the Same-Day delivery options available for Prime members in eligible postcodes.
The majority of Prime members currently receive most of their Prime orders with One-Day delivery, while free Same-Day delivery can be manually selected for eligible orders.

    From 18 September 2023:

Your Prime Same-Day or Overnight (Tomorrow by 1 PM) orders over £20 will automatically be delivered to you using the fastest available option, at no extra cost. This means that where available, you will get eligible orders delivered for free on the same day or by 1PM the following day, depending on when you place your order.
Eligible Prime orders under £20 will continue to be shipped with free One-Day delivery. Where available, Same-Day delivery can be selected at checkout, but there will be a fee of £1.99 per delivery for orders under £20. The fee for customers who are not Prime members will remain £5.99. (edited)

Ah right. Thanks. not the end of the world then. I rarely use same day delivery - next day is fine. I was all ready to send a 'Karen' email at amazon

Just a word of warning, Amazon are about to start changing (from next month) even Prime subscribers an additional delivery charge of £1.99 for all orders that are under £20!. We had an email off Amazon the other day stating this.

So in other words subscribe to Amazon Prime, you have to pay extra for delivery if under £20 but don't if over. Don't subscribe and free delivery if over £20 without prime!. Unless I'm missing something in the detail Amazon are taking away a lot of the free delivery for one off or small items and looking more and more like prime is now going to be more for the streaming service than online delivery of items unless you buy higher value items or increase order value of smaller items.

This is incorrect. For orders over £20, you’ll get the fastest delivery method (incl. same day delivery) for free. For orders under £20, next day delivery will remain free - only same-delivery orders will incur a £1.99 fee.

I think Apple said all European models would be USB C, whether they were EU or not. Good price, I've ordered, my teenagers are always losing or breaking their's

Great price, especially for 2m. Thank you

"The data transmission speed can reach 480Mbps." The thing being that unlike many cheap ones, these can and will data transfer (great for Apple Play) in vehicles etc.

IMO These tend to lose connection if bent more than a few times, these are dressed up cheap cables. OK for static use. The one I use on my bedside will only work if bent sideways now.
You need the flexible cables for daily use/abuse.

Work fine here. But I tend to not haphazardly grab at my cables and mash them beyond function. I must be weird like that :/

Nice and cheap for fast charging and a bit of durability but with new iPhones coming soon might not be so important. Also I am sure fast charging is what’s tanked my battery health so fast, lots of iPhone 13 users suffered the same fate - in the end I just accepted it as the phone itself is so good (compared to earlier and later models).

Haven't had an email, don't know anyone else who has and haven't seen it reported anywhere

Is it really MFi ? Suppose those are certified have the official logo and this one doesn’t have
    hukdm's avatar
I was about to ask the same. It doesn't have the logo on the packet only in the title. Wouldn't have ordered otherwise
