not that deep. must be a mistake. dont be too hard on people who make posts to save a couple of bucks

A cheap iron indeed, but if u see yourself doing any reasonable amount of soldering work then you will thank yourself for spending maybe £15 more and getting something temperature adjustable. It'll just make every job much easier and better on your components. This will either vapourise solder really quickly, or so slowly that your dwell time on the joint will heat your components up more than they need to.

Voted hot on price alone as will be fine for basic jobs like tinning wire and more.
