After much deliberating, I decided to go for this as my replacement monitor.
Superb for the price, great motion handling, decent brightness and colour accuracy.
Decent stand with tilt, pivot and height adjustment.

400 nits brightness is stated, but in the review below it actually tested at over 500 nits so it'll be great in very well lit rooms.

Yes, it's IPS and I know some of you prefer the higher contrast of VA, but I cannot stand the motion blur that comes with all but the most expensive VA panels and I prefer the general look/sharpness/colours of IPS.
IPS glow isn't enough of a negative to sway me away from them.

Good review for the screen here -

I bought 2 of these on black Friday. Honestly THE best monitors I've ever owned

    How much for each?

I have the 34” UWQHD version of this monitor which was on sale for just over £300 earlier in the year. Use the curved VA version in the office for work and the flat IPS at home for gaming. Far far prefer it to dual monitor setups I’ve always used and gaming on it is so much more immersive.

But for Iiyama the panels themselves seem great but there’s clearly some quality control issues. Had to return first IPS due to power problems and there was a dud in the first office batch we bought too.

If you get a working one it has to be of the best screen size/quality for the price out there with fantastic colour accuracy though, super impressed with them.

Hopefully this one will be fine.
Read through a lot of the comments on Reddit and under the YT reviews and didn't see a single complaint about this model so thinking I'd have to be very unlucky to get one with issues.

Currently looking for a 34” ultrawide, but this does seem like a good buy for IPS.

Yeah I spent a few days looking around for a well priced but very capable 27" 1440p screen, without spending another £100 I don't think I could have got much better. (edited)

There's a KitGuru (reliable site) YT review for this model in the details above.
Pretty positive, especially when it comes to image quality and motion handling (important for gaming monitors). (edited)

Looks like a decent enough monitor. Motion handling isn't great, but for people that prefer VA over IPS it's pretty good value (you have to spend at least double to get a VA panel that has minimal motion blur/black smearing).

You are paying more for 240Hz though, if you don't really need such a high refresh rate you could save some money and go for a 165Hz (the difference is barely noticeable, most people can't even tell the difference).

The M1C version of that phillips is a little cheaper -

All VA panels though, so ghosting/Black smearing will always be an issue with fast paced games but at least they are from Amazon so easy enough to return if you don't like them. (edited)

If this was Amazon I'd probably be all over it. Monitors are very finicky where one tiny little issue ruins the whole thing, so being able to return with no hassle is a goodsend.

Yep, expired now as up in price.
I was going to replace it with the one from Tech Next Day as it was only £5 more, but they have also put the price up.
Looks like I bought it at the right time.

I bought but they haven’t sent the power cable? I asked and they said iiyama generally don’t include but they’ve agreed to post one for me.

Crazy cause it says on the box, manuals and everywhere. Had to wait for so long and now this issue

Doesn't surprise me these days, I've just ordered a power supply that doesn't come with a power cable.
I know at least it says it doesn't have one on the box, but a power supply without a power cable? lol!
Lucky I have plenty of spares.

Happy with the purchase? Thinking of getting it for my sister but no USB C hub and her charger is on the fritz too. So would be a good alternative.

This or recommendation for something similar?

Really impressed with it to be honest, image quality is superb,
There was a deal for a similar specced monitor with USB-C posted last week I think, good price too.
    I'll try to find it.
