DISCOVER GREAT UK FAMILY BREAKS IN SKEGNESS
Skegness is where the Butlin’s story began. Founded in 1936 by Billy Butlin, it was the UK’s first-ever holiday camp and is just as popular now as it’s always been. We’re super proud of our rich heritage, so you’ll find lots of original elements combined with 21st-century facilities. Our Traditional Fairground (complete with vintage stall games) pays homage to our seaside roots, while our brand-new entertainment venues keep things fresh and vibrant.

When the sun’s shining, make the most of our adrenalin-fuelled outdoor activities. Take your pick from the high ropes, climbing wall, go-karts and freefall. And when the weather’s not playing ball? There are loads of things to do inside including laser tag, bowling, arts and crafts and, of course, our huge Splash Waterworld. Renovated in 2018, the pool features nearly 3000 square metres of fun, with high-speed flumes, racing rapids, a pool for tots and a winding vortex slide that sends you spinning into a giant bowl.

After all that excitement, you’ll need somewhere comfy to rest and recharge. Our New England-style apartments are a home away from home, while our colourful Seaside apartments have a nostalgic feel. Want to be close to the action? Our Fairground apartments are just a five-minute stroll from our entertainment venues.

Light and bright with pastel-coloured walls, our Silver Rooms are brilliant for budget-conscious families who just want a place to sleep and shower at the end of a busy day.

Included in your room:
  • One, two and three bedrooms with double bed and twins or a single bed
  • Bathroom with shower
  • Central Heating
  • All rooms come with a TV and free Essential WiFi. Towels and daily housekeeping are not included
  • Rooms are located on the ground and first floors

Hope it helps someone

Having done around 40 adult weekends over the years. You can't fault these prices for the family breaks. You generally need to take at least one child with you for these. But if your a solo traveller you will probably be ok. But if you have 2 or more adults on your booking without any children it's likely they will contact you to cancel it. Yes, there are parts of the place that need upgrading. But for these prices it's a bargain imo and the entertainment is good for children. Life is about making memories with friends and family. Far better than staying at home doing the usual routine.

All year weather is crap..when i moved to the UK, 13 years ago, i was very excited to explore the countries....after 4 trips i gave up..its waste of money... i went Minehead arround...10/08...it rained for 4 days...with max of 15C and beach totally empty...depressing...so never again

We went for the day to Minehead, the place itself seemed quite nice and Butlins is on the front at one end, so need to feel stuck. What is not to like for £40? And indeed, what do you expect for £40? My kids would see a helter skelter and a waterslide and think they've gone to the best place in the world.

They'd love the new skypark at skeggy then.

You've never been to some beauty spots in the UK then (Lake District, Cornwall, Devon), and weather isn't too bad some days in the summer, better than the extreme heat in Europe

This is a fantastic deal. Very frustrating that my daughter's half-term at school is later this year, but the price is still £300-plus during her week off. This deal will definitely suit some though!!

Not a big fan of butlins but to get away as a base plenty of nice walks to have and mablethorpe not too far away for a walk on the beach

Sadly after all that has gone on since covid i still see people not washing their hands after the toilet. So i do say it's like germ central when i go and coming back home with 'Butlin's flu' is common. As your tired due to lack of sleep and more prone to picking bugs up as your body temperature lowers with too much alcohol. I guess you can't tell some people the importance of hand washing.
