Located in the serene seaside town of Minehead, our resort is nestled in the beautiful hilly moors of Exmoor in Somerset, neighbouring a gorgeous golden sandy beach.

As the largest of our three resorts, Minehead is the ideal location for families wanting to embrace everything that's brilliant about the Great British seaside (including the unpredictable weather!) with acres of resort to roam and nearly one mile of beach on our doorstep.

Home to our iconic chalets and seafront apartments, you'll find everything you need to make your break special at Minehead. There are delicious restaurants, a vintage fairground, the Skyline Pavilion where you'll find our entertainment, plus a charming Chapel in our grounds, too!

If you fancy doing a little exploring outside of our resort, Minehead has so much to offer. In proximity to Exmoor National Park, you'll find nature trails and walking paths with lovely views. Dunster Castle is nearby, with the West Somerset Railway open for a nostalgic trip on the steam train.

Hope it helps someone

Was here last week for long weekend with grankids. Yes few right ones here shall I say. We was in gold 2 storey building and tbf it was mostly clean, carpets seem new as did the shower, kitchen area and overall decent. A big improvement on those ground floor chalets, which need bulldozing. Glass windows so thin you here footsteps walking past, mattress made of cardboard, feet longer than bed and having to lie in one position all night as no room to roll over. I even said to family that they have all new Studio 36 stage for mulhern etc,the fairground area is having a big overhaul with Augmented Reality indoor activities replacing the old shabby one,but those chalets still exist with look of 30 years ago, with reclaimed dark brown wooden doors by looks of it.

The last time we was at Minehead the staff quarters were even worse than those chalets from looking at the outside. Not sure they are still here as did not venture so far up to look. Appalling to be even able to see them in the state they was. (edited)

We stayed in the silver rooms and were surrounded by cannabis smoking shouty chavs. The cheap price is no barrier to entry.

    Too much like home, eh?

Would it be best to take ear plugs to a place like this to get a good nights sleep? 🍺

OP says it's in the 'serene seaside town of Minehead'

Don't do it. Complete run-down cess pool .Take off your rose tinted yesteryear glasses & be warned that your hand will be constantly in your pocket shelling out cash . Chalets are an absolute dive (inc. Gold standard).

Great deal; I hear the STDs and legionnaires are supplied free of charge.

Good deal of it includes heating! Cheaper to turn the heating off and come here for a few days!

    That’s what I said.
Only you’d have more fun in hell than Butlins.

Thought these were the adult weekend ones. Cold. No wonder they’re cheap they’re in the week.

Voted cold because you were mistaken? What strange logic.

Good deal but hard when you got children in school as in school holidays cost more

The good news is that it costs nothing not to stay… which is comforting

Excellent value considering some people would pay good money not to stay.

Silver standard means it comes with a kettle.... But it's full of urine. 30 years ago this place was amazing but now their whole budget goes on Stephen Mulhern so they've got no money to renovate Auschwitz.

Nice to see the courts are handing down sentences that bite.

One of my worst weekends ever. Disgusting place. You'd have to pay me to go and I'd still stay at home.

Oh and the main stage room closes at around 8pm now too

As a young boy in the early 60's I watched Butline in Minehead being built. Billy would probably turn in his grave if he could see it now

I visited Butlin's Minehead on many a day visit in the mid 70s and it was pretty rough then.
