She's told to wait again. Now getting into late into the night in a drinking part of a city, not an area she felt comfortable hanging around in. She kept chasing to eventually be told it could be in the early hours of the morning. She told them she has to go home for safety and if they could pick it up in the morning. They told her they would give her a 15 minute warning to get there when the mechanic was close. With no car, taxis and busses not being an option to get back to her car at a drop of a hat, she waited at mine and I agreed to take her once she got the call.
After calling them 7 times, asking for a manager to call her back it was soon 5pm with no call from anyone at RAC. We gave up.
3 days later the car still hadn't been towed and one of the employees she'd talked to (who had been rude) had closed down her breakdown on the system.
We towed the vehicle our selves.
