The modern Finas Hotel and Apartments are backed by cliffs, and overlook the sea. And, you can enjoy the views from four-poster loungers and a floating deck.

The hotel’s tucked up against a hillside, looking out over the sea. The landscaped gardens frame the pool, and are home to the hotel’s resident peacock.

A peaceful, sandy beach, and the centre of Pefkos village are both within a 10-minute walk. And, it’s only a 10-minute drive to the historic town of Lindos. Here, you can hike up to the acropolis for panoramic views. Or, take a donkey ride* instead.

Holidays here come with our Hotel rep and 24/7 Online service. This means that an English-speaking TUI rep will visit your hotel during your stay, and info and support are available 24/7 via the TUI app.
Just to let you know, this hotel doesn't offer adapted rooms. And there's a slight gradient to some studios and apartments because of its location. There are also a few steps to the hotel's main toilet facilities, which means this hotel is not best-suited to anyone with reduced mobility.

Rooms: 110 Buildings: 13 Floors: 2 Lifts:

I am currently in the hotel directly above the Finas and arrived on 1st August so was one of the newest tourists to arrive post the fires and evacuation.

My hotel was 10% full the first night, but will be 50% full by tomorrow as the Tui flights arrive and 100% full by Tuesday as the next tranche of Tui flights arrive. Weather is lovely; about 33 degC with low humidity and nothing like the 40degC++ it was during the fires. It has been a real treat to have a quiet holiday on what should be the busiest holiday week of the year, but obviously not good for the locals who depend on tourist €€€€.

The Finas looks very nice as I gaze down on it and I would not hesitate to stay their. I find the Pefkos ‘strip’ a bit meh, but Finas is away from this with a couple of more traditional quiet tavernas nearby (Nikolas and Annexis). Views are sublime.

As for the fires, what fires? I have binoculars and I can’t even identify any scorched earth with them. Total non event with respect to Pefkos and fires. People were evacuated because of the travelling smoke, and the central command in Athens was very cautious because smoke has caused deaths on the mainland before.

The cheapness is compounded because the Scottish school kids are back at school early. But if you live in Northern England, don’t mind the schlep to ABZ, then this is a great deal, in what looks like a lovely hotel.

    Have some heat.

Point your binoculars towards the Algarve in Portugal. There's your fires.

Please don't take a donkey ride!!

What’s wrong with riding a donkey? We all have to work. Even Jesus rode one. Allegedly.

^^^3 Euro per pint. Inflation has moved on rapidly. More like 4 Euro minimum for 500ml now, which is over 10% smaller than a pint. Prices in Rhodes for eating similar to a cheaper U.K. town, and 50%+ more expensive than the lesser known and more traditional Greek islands I like to visit.

The days of Greece being cheap are gone.

Greece is still cheap, rent a car and stay away from tourist traps full of all-in hotels.

a bit off topic but I intend to visit turkey and was wondering if there is any quick and cheap boat rides to any Greek Island and is it worth going?

Approximately 60€ from Kusadasi to Samos and takes about an hour

I remember when I went to Rhodes a few years back.
My God do they pester you over there, couldn't walk anywhere without built up without being pestered to buy stuff or go in their restraunt.

I also remember the comedy widescreen TV in the hotel room

Rhodes town is like that, still ripping tourists off with the large beers.
Pefkos is a really nice resort, we went years ago when it was much smaller (and nicer in my opinion), but still a lovely place.

I'm in Rhodes at the moment. No sign there was any fire (I've been Rhodes old and new town, lindos and lardos) and travelled along the west coast.

Honestly support the locals and grab a bargain holiday during this summer holidays as it's unlikely to be this cheap again.

Lardos always sounds like Lindos' rather overweight cousin

We stayed in this hotel around 20 years ago, was a lovely place back then and the views from the room balconies, if you get a sea view one, are tremendous. Brilliant deal, heat added.

Went to the finas this time last year hotel beautiful the room we had not so much - sewerage smell outside front door , wifi non-existent in room and couldn’t even get our own mobile signal in the room ! It was a studio room round the back .
We booked it as a tui deal 2 days before leaving so obviosly got what was left !
However, we are going back there on Tuesday got one of these deals last week £362 pp from Birmingham, price kept changing ! Requested a better room this time and have 1 Bed apartment so fingers crossed.
Bit of a jaunt on the transfer but not too bad.
Hotel grounds are beautiful as are surrounding areas. Most bars around have their own swimming pools so good for kids, beach not too far to walk to. We were only there for 5 days so didn’t do much but did visit Lindos and walk up to the acropolis (did NOT take a donkey ride up there - , it was around 40 odd degrees !) - views are beautiful from there !
Food at this hotel was lovely gyros amazing and had the buffet dinner twice (we were SC), beer around 3euro a pint.
This time planning to travel out and visit the Waterpark, falkraki , lardos and Rhodes town.
