Thank you for this :)

For anyone in London for £21 you can get a return ticket from Stansted to Belfast airport, throughout most of October. So if you are not in Belfast, check SkyScanner for cheap flights to Belfast Airport. I've checked and cheapest and closest to those dates are as follows: 11th October fly from Stansted to Belfast for £11pp, if you want the 12th it's £17pp, I would take the 12th, it would be cheaper to pay the £6 then find a hotel for 2 nights, unless of course you want to explore the city. Fly back from Belfast to Stansted on the 16th for £10 Also if you want to take the risk, and hope your flight isn't cancelled or delayed for too long, then you could get a flight back to London Stansted on the same day you return from Warsaw on 15th October, as the flight to Stansted is at 20:10.

Those stats would be really useful if anyone could tell where they relate to! :{

Well looking at these stats I know we're I love to live.

Yes, that's because Warsaw is just the major city and capital, a modern city totally rebuilt after the war, so there really isn't anything unique about it other some historical significance. Krakow wasn't damaged during the war so there is a lot of old architecture to see and it isn't such a busy working or administrative city so much less hectic or polluted. I would disagree with only of your comments, that "food is generally good". Traditional Polish food is really not good at all, much like most in that region mostly some combination cabbage or potatoes and poor quality meats.

Kraków is a beautiful city, highly recommended. Warsaw is nowhere near as beautiful as Kraków, half a day around the old town and IF the weather is good a couple of cocktails around the river bank bars will do. Take the morning fast train from Kraków for about £20 first class and in 2 hours you will be in Warsaw, spend the day there, pick the evening train back and you will be fully sorted. Poland is generally very cheap (excluding museums), food is generally good, transport is also very reasonable (uber for city transports is cheaper than a bus ticker in the UK, Warsaw centre to Modlin is about 120 zloty/£25).

I too have just returned from Kraków a beautiful city ... Every thing is cheap ... uber taxis operate here... eat in the local milk bars .. sip cocktails in the square and beware of the fire breathing dragon ! We stayed in a beautiful apartment in the Jewish quarter -10 mins from the old town on foot ... ... a must go city !

Which ibis is this?

Seems a good price. Quick note for those looking to keep things on a budget, I flew in and out of Bordeaux a lot last year and the airport is outside the city. However, there is a regular bus service for under 2 Euros which takes about 45-60 minutes I think it's the 1+. You'll see stops outside the main airport building and you can buy tickets either from a machine or from the driver. It's very good value but can get busy. Alternatively there is an express bus/coach that goes non-stop to the train station which is in the centre. This is about 8 Euros (each way). You can buy tickets online or from the driver, and there's a schedule on the website to see if the times work with your flights.

@tommysquelch since watching Ripper Street from your description it doesn't seem much has changed in Whitechapel (lol)

This is an average hotel in a fairly sketchy part of London...They used to do £25 Friday/Saturday rooms as their 'accor members' offer so for it to more than double is not really a deal for me; only in that it's cheaper than most London hotel rooms. I saw two guys fighting on the other side of the street and my room view was of a bloke burning miscellaneous items in a drum fire on the street below.

No good for family of 4 though, max occupancy per room is 3 sadly!

I also stayed there once without children when we needed a london hotel on a budget.

I've stayed at this hotel with previous deals. we didn't have breakfast but it was absolutely fine for our needs. We stayed with my seven year old daughter and she was absolutely enthralled with the cabin bed over the top of our double bed. The rooms were clean and modern, well decorated and fit for purpose. They are small but we only needed a bed for the night. The Whitechapel budget Ibis is well rated on TripAdvisor too considering price and location. I can't comment on any other ones but I much preferred this hotel to Travelodge. We got any amazing deal previously, quite a bit cheaper than this deal but it's still a good price for central London. :)

That's very true. Whilst it can't be guaranteed I have stayed at Accor hotels a number of times and I have always been paid the cashback. Of course, that could all change tomorrow. Some of the Accor brands seem to offer 15% quite regularly (not at the moment though), so if you are staying a few nights the cashback would be considerable. I think, if that were the case, then I would rather take a punt on TCB than this accor offer. If the cashback was only slightly better than this offer I may well go with the "guaranteed" offer posted here. Risk/reward I suppose. One other point about this offer. 500 points on their own are worth nothing. You need to accumulate 2000 before you can cash them in, so if you don't stay regularly then this offer doesn't make financial sense.

Agree but remember there is no guarantee on TCB payments. These promotions will always pay up.

Also can you access all offers on the app as in the website like the current winter sale?

Obviously weigh up if this is better than going through TCB. Probably is if you are staying one night in an Ibis but may not be for longer stays or stays in their more expensive brands.

Two nights away to burn that much aviation fuel. The world has gone mad if you ask me. That's probably 700 litres of aviation fuel per passenger. All that Co2, plus who knows how much oxygen gets depleted from the atmosphere. Just seems so wasteful. Maybe okay very occasionally. Just a shame it's not cheaper to holiday here.

Not sure abotu the area but lovely airport Wroclaw!

They have had a slap on the wrist and promised that all cancellations are already announced, plus they must re-route you on a rival airline if they cancel at short notice ....sounds good to me ;)

Lovely place to visit. If you go, be sure to try and find as many of Wrocław's dwarfs as you can! :)

I've had to do a bit of swapping for this to make it work over a weekend. Its slightly more expensive so its worth noting that the same hotels were slightly cheaper on

This is great thank you. Can you confirm which Krakow Ibis that is please?

Religion? Second world war? Best do a bit more homework on Balkan ethnic tensions spanning centuries, tensions that are far deeper than scripture arguments between Byzantine and Roman churches. The only terrorists in the various wars that took place during the break up of plastic Yugoslavia were mujahideen Arab fighters backing up Bosniaks, just goes to prove Serbia started the war on terror long before George W declared it eh (highfive)

I totally understand, my old man was a refugee from socialist oppression in the 1960's.....funnily enough I don't recall one single iron curtain refugee partaking in anti western terrorism, can the same be said about the current crop of refugees with their totally different values and religious beliefs? Erm no, because even you just spoke about those who spoil it for the rest yourself, I'm sorry but talking about the tables were turned is very weak because some of this mob come from a religiously bigoted culture than don't even allow westerners to drive on their motorways due to not being of the same faith. I'm fed up with people trying to paint enemies as friends and yeah I do appreciate they're not all enemies but they definitely ain't all friends either

Unfortunately it may be the HUKD effect. If lots of people have booked flights and the date is popular, the flight prices rise :-(

Flights alone now gone to 150 for me

The train station is a 10 minute walk from the old town in the new shopping center. I walked past the hotel about 3 weeks ago its near the station. Well located hotel near a big carre four in the Galleria shopping centre. The train station isn't in the old town walls its outside it.

There are a number of Ibis hotels. This one is a bit further out but reviews on Tripadvisor suggest the main square is only a 10-15 min walk away and it can easily be accessed from the airport by bus and it has excellent public transport links too, tram etc.

noooo.... this offer was brilliant!

It says 'OFFER HAS NOW ENDED - COME BACK NEXT WEEK TO DISCOVER OUR NEW RANGE OF EXCLUSIVE OFFERS' so I assume that's it for this year. Only just started taking advantage of it at Easter and have used it twice. Went to book again Yesterday evening - looks like it's back to airbnb for me. Hi. Is this deal back as yet?

Gutted, I've told a few people about this to recently. They'll think I'm full of it!!

I'm really gutted too. I still didn't think it would be that popular, and thought they were filling a lot of empty rooms anyway, better to get £25 or £40 than nothing for them. Perhaps it will come back after the points accelerator offer ends?

There's actually a new deal, to do with points, so it's possible this deal is temporarily suspended, whilst the points one runs, or it may just be due to bank holiday. I'm sure boyaloyd will update us :)

We went for three. It was just enough I think. If you are doing both the camps and the salt mines, that's two full days so you won't get to see anything else really
