Redeeming a Discount Code in the Next Online Shop

Next often provides discount codes in mailed leaflets or as part of their newsletter. To redeem one of these on next.co.uk, here’s what to do:
Select your items by pressing “Add to bag”.
Go to the “Checkout” and you will see a summary of your products.
Choose “Go to Checkout” and sign in with your account or register for a new one.
On the following page, there is a section that says “Do You Have An Incentive Code”.
Fill in your discount code in the box “Your promotion code” and press “Continue”.
The amount will be deducted from your total immediately.
Complete your payment and delivery details in the next steps and finish your order.
How to return a Next purchase
Next accepts free returns on most items within 14 days, but if you return the entire order you are charged £3.99. Similarly, customers who pay with each order, instead of having a credit account, are charged £3.99 to return any items. Next does not accept returns of food, flowers, cosmetics, mattresses or anything with a security seal, such as DVDs, Blu-rays or CDs. There are two main options for returning goods, you can take them to a Next store or Payzone outlet, or have them collected by a courier.
To return items to a store or a Payzone outlet, follow these steps:
The delivery note will have details of your nearest Next or Payzone outlet.
Re-pack the item and take along the delivery note.
Hand both to the cashier.
They will process your request and provide a collection slip.

Redeeming Gift Cards or eVouchers at Next
Redeeming a Gift Card at Next is simple. Follow these easy steps:
Add items to your basket and check out.
On the Payment screen click Gift Card / eVoucher.
Enter the Card Number (First 16 Digits) found on the back of the card.
Next, enter the PIN which is on the back of your Gift Card/eVoucher. Simply scratch-off the metallic cover to reveal the 4 digit PIN.
After adding both numbers, click Add Gift Card / eVoucher.
You can redeem part or all of any valid Next Gift Card and the amount you choose will be taken off your total basket amount.

They told me they couldn't cancel my order as it was in a queue at the warehouse (from an order at the beginning of July and this was September) I'd have quite happily took a refund but was refused.
Yep and they promised first dibs on the first sale after the lockdown period which didn’t happen either.
Cancelled everyone's orders after weeks of no information after lockdown happened then finally began to refund people, very slowly (lack of information not really great, but slow refunds fair enough in my view under the circumstances). But the two big missteps were that they gave no option to keep your order and say, look I don't mind if it takes a while I understand the situation and then just days after they began going through the refunds of cancelled orders from weeks prior they re-opened orders on the sale section with all the same stock and I dare say some were still waiting on refunds for pieces of stock that were now available for sale again.
