Because people don't know the difference between tat and non-tat. They need to be educated and informed. I am surprised to see people wearing polyester and viscose dresses in summer. Sheer lack of knowledge here.
Why do people buy into this crap. Got a bracelet for Christmas with charms. I was so disappointed i wanted to cry ;(
Agreed still over priced at 50% off
Overrated junk. Can't take in water. Can't take shower while on. Can't apply perfume near it. Bought once, regretted. I put in some extra money now and buy gold. Can always resell and a good investment.
Hey @victoriaevans , thanks for posting! I've added product info underneath :)
I should point out that I have a Pandora bracelet!
Pandora and Tiffany are brands that are mass produced and are instantly recognisable like Adidas and Nike which is what many consumers want. Either because they want the same things that everyone else has which is what high street fashion is all about it for some these brands are seen as affordable luxury items which is why they are most usually worn by people on low incomes. I know now that sounds terribly insulting but mass consumerism isn’t targeted at people who want individuality and want to pay for quality and not a brand name
Isn't the point of jewellery that its not mass produced, that it has value beyond its materials. Everything about this is geared to play on the idea that jewellery is valuable while having no value at all. This is basically the beanie baby of this generation
Same as trainers, apparently even the most expensive trainers don’t cost more than a couple of dollars to make. All mass produced fashion items are going to be made cheaply and sold at a high profit.

Real Rip-off Price. Or how much the manufacturer would like you to try and mug us for. Only valid in cloud cookoo land ;)
Agreed, lets merge and agree on Overpriced cheap tat :)
As I said, for jewellery you are paying for the design. If you sell, sell at auctions - you are more likely to get closer to what you paid for them if they are a sought after design. If you go to a jewellers/pawnbrokers they will pay only for the price of the silver/gold and then half that for their mark up. You are not going to get anywhere near what you paid for it. A silver charm wholesale depends on the weight but can be anything from £3 to £5.50. The retail price will be £30 to £55. you may be able to get them in a sale for half the RRP, or even 70% of RRP but even then there is still a massive mark up.
Pandora are a joke, insanely overpriced tat.
Be wary of this stuff. It’s very cheap metal marketed well. When my partner went to sell her bracelets with about £500 worth of charms on them she was offered £10 from multiple reputable brokers. If you want to buy someone a piece of jewellery buy something that has real value.

Pandora on social media
Pandora was founded by Danish goldsmith, Per Enevoldsen, in 1982. He began by importing jewellery from Thailand and selling it in his small family shop, but soon he moved on to designing and producing his own creations. Targeted primarily at the female market, Pandora is now the third-largest jeweller in the world after Tiffany and Cartier. Their extensive range is sold in over 100 countries across the globe, though the USA and Europe account for 90% of all Pandora sales.
The Pandora product Range
On their website at pandora.net Pandora lists six types of jewellery and also includes a section devoted to picking the perfect present. Each area is divided into multiple subsections with more specific titles. The jewellery section contains the following categories:
A major aspect of the Pandora brand, the charms in this section is rendered in 14c gold, sterling silver, and two-tone designs. Some also feature coloured stones or enamelled decoration. There are over 600 unique charms to choose from and they represent various occasions, moments and emotions. Customers can also shop for hanging charms called ‘Pendants’, ‘Clips’ to keep other charms in place, ‘Spacers’ to break up a run of larger charms and safety chains. Pandora charms and accessories can all be worn on Pandora bracelets.
Pandora has a varied range of women's bracelets in this category, they are finished in gold, sterling silver, and leather, or a combination of these materials. By adding charms to a bracelet and arranging them in a sequence that suits their personal taste, customers can create a bespoke piece of jewellery.
Pandora presents a huge collection of rings for women, each is unique in design and created using precious metals and colourful gemstones. There are rings inlaid with diamonds, enamel rings, and rings that combine a number of different materials. The stacking rings subsection features designs that can be worn on top of each other to create a more striking effect.
Necklaces & Pendants
Pandora has a collection of necklaces and pendants that can be bought separately and then combined in a way that appeals to individual customers. These are made in sterling silver, white gold, and 14c gold. The pendants are embellished with a variety of materials from diamonds to cubic zirconia and many are finished in a mix of materials.
The Pandora earrings are often designed to complement the brand's other lines and come in a range of styles, from petite studs to bold sparkly pendants. They are finished in sterling silver, then inlaid with pearls, diamonds and other gemstones. You can browse by drop, stud or hoop if you know what style of earring you'd prefer; colour, stones, materials, metals, popularity, and price.
The section entitled gifts are divided into gift Inspiration, gifts by prices and gifts by occasion, so customers can be sure to always find the right gift for Christmas, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, or even Valentines day.
