Would these be good and confortable for normal walking for older folks (for my dad basically)

They are comfortable and quite lightweight.

Most people go half a size up (Adidas recommend this too).

I put this in the OP - they have a few men’s/unisex styles listed under women’s atm for some reason (the trainers I order 2 weeks ago were under women’s but were men’s)

Be wary of adidas walking/hiking shoes. They're very small and in my experience very uncomfortable. I sent a pair back and to be fair to them they refunded me even after I had worn them (twice).

Everyone here is saying buy a half size larger. Would you say it won't be comfortable even if I bought a larger size?

Great deal. Be aware these come up small so go a size up

Yes, I always go half a size up in Terrex.

    The grey plastic ruins it

    Is it waterproof?
    bigmo7's avatar
doesn't look like it - I have the goretex version of these which are waterproof but the upper here is leather so wouldn't think so

how's the shoe width? i have fairly wide flat feet. Usually a 9UK but if it's "standard" width I usually move up to 9.5UK or more.

    Guessing I should order a 10? (edited)
