If its not already been taken off at source then you can also claim back the vat. There's a VAT exemption for disability aids.
Many don't know of this exemption and pay unnecessary VAT.
    Here's more information.

Can’t comment on this particular one but my mother has arthritic finger and hand joints and thinks her one, similar, is a godsend.

As a domiciliary carer needing to top up my pension this is a godsend. I have found it perfect for jimmy'ing the floorboards to collect the rest of the monies I am owed

    what about using a fork?

Surely these should be free via Age Uk or similar Agencies for the one's who suffer this terrible disease or are less abled.

You could say that about every medical condition or life stage (why not make nappies and baby products free?). If you look at the range available on these sites, if everything was free it would cost the NHS millions. They do provide core things for those eligible but really you could kit out an entire house with the range of aids available.

For those who are having trouble with the ring tabs coming off, there is a trick to making the whole operation a little easier. Before you try and pull the lid off, bend the tab forward enough to break the seal (which will significantly reduce the force required to pull the lid off, therefore greatly reducing the odds of pulling the tab off by accident), then pull the tab and the lid off.

These are fine in theory until you try and open a can where the pull is not attached too well, and it comes away from the lid suddenly and goes flying away, hopefully away from your face. Then you get the can opener out.

    That’s when your can becomes a can’t

    A can plug.

These are great UNTIL the ring pulls snaps off under force and flies across the room. Don't believe me? Try one eventually you'll get a ring pull that snaps off and launches itself at your or someone else at full velocity

Good for those with plastic nails on their fingers too I guess

My daughter just got her nails done.... She's like Wolverine, could slice the can open.

    Just use a can opener.

The people who can use can openers don't need this. Think about it. Think beyond your own experience

You should try forks, they're really good.

Once you've opened the first can of spinach surely this product becomes redundant?

Is people pay for this useless product?

Okay as someone who has had dexterity issues from day one and even the fork method sometimes fails (Either ring is too flat or a bad arm day) this would be /fantastic/ for me.
