Is this better than the original which for me was awful. Dropped Bluetooth connection and no way short of a complete reboot would get it connected.

It has exactly the same horrible connection problems as the original.

Here’s my Amazon review, for what it’s worth.
I had bought it at £30 and it was too expensive then, in my opinion.

It’s small, neat and discrete. Easy to set up and install in the car (Lexus NX).
For some reason it chose to link to the car Bluetooth, though I selected aux via the included cable.
I couldn’t find a way to link it the way I wanted but gave up and left it as it was.
When it worked, it was great but it repeatedly disconnected from Bluetooth or randomly played whatever it seemed to pick, despite me shouting ‘Alexa - stop’ at it. The mic was very close so I’m not sure why.
It also insisted on pausing whenever ‘Alexa’ was mentioned by ads it played as soon as it started up. I was unable to change to another wake word, otherwise I might have kept it. Those two things alone helped me to decide to return it, despite being a prime day half price cost. If it had been a quarter usual cost I may have persevered.

Thanks. Was that the old or the new version?

I would love to trade my my 1st Gen Echo Auto, but can't see it under the trade in options. Do Amazon not take in trade ins of the OG Auto?

I can't really see any value in trading up from the old version here, can anyone who has had both old and new fill me in...?
