If you are looking for a larger gaming laptop, then this could be the way to go. For the overall specs, I believe the value is great. The panel is a Wide Viewing Angle (WVA) display-panel technology.

Is it worth upgrading my legion 5i pro rtx 3060 to this?

I'd say yes if we can find out what the TDP of the 3070Ti is. So this video review says it is the 150W version. However! that still needs to be confirmed as Dell could have lowered the GPU spec since last year.

Plus the laptop in this deal now has QHD 1440P as the screen resolution which a year ago he was complaining about in that video that it only came with 1080P.

£1200 refurbished on dell alienware outlet website after 15% code is applied. I've had a few dell refrubished previously and they have always looked brand new. (edited)

It's actually only a saving of £30. If you do it without the code above, change the spec and then back again, it shows it as £1430 with their own savings discount.

£1,314.67 with the code DAILYMAIL8. Just change the processor then change the specs back. A bit of a misleading deal this one.

I've not had to buy a laptop for 7 years, my Asus ROG has been working ok, a few niggles are showing now
But objectively speaking, is this a good deal? I know it's an upgrade to what I have, but in terms of spec to cost. Is it good?

yes, very good value for what it is.

this or the previous Dell G15 for £1100?

Bought the 15 inch for my son a few months ago at about this price (but Ryzen 9). Very well built, but very heavy. The power supply block is pretty huge as well.

Do any of these deals 'stack' with an NHS Blue Light discount?
