£10 cheaper from Germany if you have a fee free card

I've been running mine at AMD auto oc 4950Mhz , steady at 4800mhz for a year or whatever. With a Aorus Master 3080ti (MSI afterburner 465w Dirt Rally 2.0 ) it performs really well. Quite happy.

The 5700X for £185 is a much better deal tbh. And for about 50p more, sold direct by Amazon.

If you are only playing games and at 1440p or above you may as well get a 5600x rather than this (£120 from Overclockers at the moment if you will buy from them)
You won’t get more frames with this cpu unless playing at 1080p and then it would be minimal.

Even with a 3090 won’t see any worthwhile difference.

Very good price though, especially if you are doing any productivity tasks as well.

I'm playing at 1080p would the 5600x be a better option then this, currently have a 4790 thanks (edited)

I have this cpu, really great for games, and multi-tasking. This is a great price for this cpu imo.

Guessing for a new build with this CPU B550 motherboard would be the best one to go for?

Is this worth the upgrade from a 3600 for 1440p on a 3070ti?

You would probably see an uplift in the 1% lows so the game will feel slightly smoother and less stuttery.
