A must watch! Looks great in 4K and uncut!

Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) is a Wall Street yuppie, obsessed with success, status and style, with a stunning fiancée (Reese Witherspoon). He is also a psychotic killer who rapes, murders and dismembers both strangers and acquaintances without provocation or purpose. Based on the controversial novel, the film offers a sharp satire of the dark side of yuppie culture in the '80s, while setting forth a vision that is both terrifying and chilling.

Strong disagree. This is the No.1 answer to the question 'when is the film better than the book?'

The book was awful, i remember reading it and thinking, 'this can't actually be this bad, can it?' then i went and read 'less than zero' by the same author - as bad, if not worse - brett easton ellis, has stolen a career IMO. I put off watching the film for a long time because the book was so bad - finally got round to watching it and thought it was great.

Gives us psychpaths a bad name.

Come on, lageryron. There are a lot more important problems than psychopaths to worry about.
