Never used this particular brand, but I find fence post levels in general to be a waste of time. It’s difficult to get the level to stay plumb on the post because most posts aren’t square. I find it much better to just use a long 1.2M or 1.8M level on the smooth sides of the post and level it that way. The longer the level, the more you get an “average” which takes into account for any little undulations in the post. I’ve fitted about 40 fence posts and didn’t have a single one that was bang on straight over the full length. (edited)

Could you get away with the app versions that can use the tilt sensor in your phone or is that not accurate enough for construction? Or is it just a "risk getting broken" thing? Curious for really really casual use.
