Just a heads up that if you've used SAVEMORE10 before, it's now switched to single use only and you'll get a "you already applied this code to an order" error message. I've used it a few times weeks ago and managed to use it again on Wednesday evening, now I get the message every time I try.

Can confirm this, once per account now, although t&c’s still state 4 uses

I've been curious about these in the past, but they're actually pretty poor in terms of value for capacity, offering around half the £/wh that the smaller 20,000mah banks offer at £20 each. It has its uses, but capacity, value, and size very much are not its strengths. (edited)

Depends on the voltage. Power = Amps x Voltage. The smaller banks you mention will be 5 volts maybe so that's 100wh whereas this is 2.5 times more supplied at different voltages depending on the socket.

Niche use. For people wanting to keep their broadband powered a lead acid UPS is much cheaper. Fir most people camping a power bank or two will suffice.

That's the same conclusion I came to.

Had one for a while and even had a power cut and the only thing I considered powering was the broadband because it doesn't have enough oomf for anything useful like a fridge.

I mean it's a basic device for a basic use case, It'll be great for camping as it's very compact.

Where's the obligatory info about how many times it can charge your phone?
    AfterAGoodDeal's avatar
It says it can power your devices everyday for 10 years, so take that's 3650 times.

Decent price, but does seem to be hovering around the same price point very frequently at the minute

Thanks, bought one just now using the codes.

The Costco one went out of stock (£139.99).

It states 20Ah battery? 200w inverter which is fine for small things when camping. Not a bad price for something so compact
    Little_Casper's avatar
I think it's decent for the price, my PPT one can supply 500w sustained power for about an hour and a half and it was over £500; however it is quite compact which is why I bought it. I'd jump on this if I was buying one for camping or as a nice backup.

I wish there was one I could charge my 5.5kw electric Ami with...
    Andrew_Smart's avatar
The absolutely massive "suitcase" type wheeled ones possibly could, but you'd literally be talking barely tens of miles.
  14. bosh118's avatar
Could this power a small fridge?
    4444405's avatar
If the power wattage of the small fridge is under 200Watts...then yes it can for around an hour maybe!
  15. replyami's avatar
Can this be carried in flight in hand baggage.
I remember batteries are not allowed in check-in
    cbflazaro's avatar
Max 99wh per battery. So no

Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again

    How waterproof is this?
  19. Sagiroth's avatar
Is it good enough for steamdeck? 😁

Bought one of these a few months ago, very handy.
Don't expect it to power high power draw items (like travel kettles) but its fine for small fridge/coolboxes on a weekends camping, small fans, electric air pumps for your air beds, LED lights, laptops, small oil filled heaters - obviously not all at once. If you need something that needs a higher power draw at any point then your looking more at the £400-£500 models. Was also surprised how quick it charges on the car 12v adapter.

Could this work as a shed-battery pack powered by solar on top of the shed? it has a solar controller. I'm always afraid these things set my shed on fire lol (edited)
    shakerstevens's avatar
Its one of the more trusted brands - obviously take precautions like don't put it near a window in the shed where sun could go through. Worth checking minimum operating temperatures for winter. But it should be fine and as you say it has a built in solar controller. I've bought this particular model a few months ago but I've not tried it with solar (yet)
