I'm a single older woman and travel alone. I take a door stop for the hotel room door at night, makes me feel safer.

What if there’s a fire blocking the windows and you can’t get the wedge out the fire exit

A box of wedges or just one?

According to the description, just one

Review says good on carpeted but not on wooden floors. I will take a punt as the rubber/plastic ones I currently own do not work well on carpeted floors.

We have to put one of the wooden ones on top of a rubber one to hold our fire doors open during the day (I appreciate they're meant to be closed, we do so at night)

Got tiled floors where I want these to go so I’ll glue some old bike tyre off-cuts or old inner tubes, rubber gloves etc on them. Hopefully do the job.

What if your door isn't made of beech?

Thank goodness, my whole life I've been searching for this, and at 40p, absolute steal. Thank you.

When my son was reading up on things to take when moving into university lodgings, flats, etc., it was recommended to to take door wedges to keep the accomodation doors open.
Not only when moving all the gear in through the block's various doors, but once settled, keeping your room door open for comings & goings that goes on all the time in the months to come!!

I'm genuinely curious as to what can be made from them. I do like a good craft.

Thank you, bought a few. Hopefully the dog won't chew these, he has a thing for doorstops for some reason!

In fairness, they're very similar to these ones from John Lewis at five quid a pop so yes, they're a bargain: johnlewis.com/joh…8?s (edited)
