    FILM YOUR UNBOXINGS

Mine has just been delivered, no iPhone though... Now proud owners of a selfie stick. Already phoned Amazon for a refund. Thankfully I filmed us opening it incase they try to refuse the refund. Scumbags out there.

whos doing this the drivers or the dropoff points ? ... ive never had an issue, guessing times are changing and the 'one off' code tells them its a high value item maybe .. maybe wise to also film driver delivering item so they can be id'd. (edited)

Good deal. But we’re already 7 months into the cycle

It’s depends what type of buyer you are. If you’re just looking for a new top end iPhone - yeah this is way better than paying an extra 200 at the Apple Store right now. If you love your tech and upgrade all the time- I’d rather have paid £1199 in September 2023 than £989 in April 2024

just clicked .. thanks op .. and 28days to resolve 'buyers regret' ..

bezos can build a new spaceship based on what ive spent this week £££ .. (edited)

Can anyone advise a way to get cheap apple iCloud storage.

    my £200gb is full. I don’t wanna pay £8.99 for 2Tb.i

i do have the news and magazine subscription.

one of annual cost is preferred if it’s possible …

I am looking at google prices and for £15.99 a year I can storage all videos and images
    JamPau's avatar
You could buy a hard drive and store the photos there and clear your 200gb cloud space for new ones.

iPhone also discounted on Very. What is happening, something new coming up to make existing line up cheaper?

Nice spot on this deal... but I wanted Natural Titanium, which is still at £1099 on Amazon.

    ... but it's £989.10 on Very.

Just been in to Curry's nearby and asked them to price match Very. They did, so I walked out with a shiny new iPhone 15 Pro Max 256gb in Natural Titanium for £989.10

(Oh, and they'll also price match Very online - I'd messaged them first and got a discount code sent to me in about a minute, however it was only valid from 7:30am tomorrow morning and I wanted to collect in store and my local store only had one left so I went in person instead) (edited)

The better camera, smaller bezels, lower weight and 512GB at £1169 feels worth considering over my current 256gb 14 pro max.

But although Im an enthusiast, I think I’ll hold until 16! It may be mostly software, but I believe a very AI-centric upgrade is likely next cycle.

That might be a substantial update so I’ll make sure I’ve got the best device to go with it when it happens.
    MMAJunkie786's avatar
The difference is not that substantial wait till the at least the 17PM to upgrade

These prices are completely normal for this time of year. The same every year. For comparison I got my iPhone 14 Pro Max 128gb new for £925 one year ago exactly.
  15. Cipher_Choize's avatar
They can't sell it either at a full priced item. Welcome to Samsung and Xiaomi club

Ridiculous prices for the smartphone nowadays.... (edited)
    doppo666's avatar
I agree smartphone prices are out of hand, I always buy 2 generations behind the latest on eBay for about £600 less than the original price no way I’m paying a grand+ for a phone unless it’s something innovative and exciting and completely different to the normal…I’m still waiting
  16. MCm's avatar
I read comments from people complaining about smartphone prices, but actually, when you think about it, £1,000 isn’t too steep considering it’s probably the most used device in our daily lives. I bought my iPhone 11 Pro Max back in 2019, and I’m only just upgrading now after four years. If you do the math, the cost really spreads out and proves its worth over time. We use our phones for everything from communication and navigation to entertainment and work, so the value you get from it day-to-day is incredible.

I've had a Realme running a Snapdragon for 2.5 years, bought for £219 and it really is excellent.

I think people are generally amazed at the increased costs of high end phones. Agreed they are the most used devices, but £1000-£1500? I personally think it's crazy but my days of buying top end phones are gone. I can't justify the massive difference in cost between a reasonable mobile and a flagship
