    The difference in apple for the upgraded m2 chip is usually £200 when looking on their store. I think if I could find this price +200 I’d order instantly for the m2

    This is cheap because it’s EOL/clearance stock, doubt you will find the newer M2 chassis with this spec for that price.

    PayPal pay in 4 , % 0 interest fees, personally i would go for the M2 the m1 already outdated chip , for dev i need more power, but if it’s just for browsing daily tasks just go for it (edited)

    Probably doesn't matter to most but it's the 8-core GPU not the 7-core on this high spec model as in the description. Older system now but in the rare 16GB and 1TB SSD (all soldered) model, seems like a good price for travelling power users. These hardly ever turn up outside of Apple and then never on offer.

    It won't. This is one deal where you are saving £600 on a new MA. Almost 3 years old now but this config won't get any cheaper than this.

    This is an amazing deal, and the specs are really good. I've never been an Apple fanbooi, but I've have this same model for the last ~2 years and I'm now a HUGE fan of the M1 Macbook Airs.

    It's completely silent, never overheats, light, portable, amazing screen, great for travelling....it's just perfect for me.

    I am in no way a Apple fanboy but I bought one of these and by far the best device to do quick simple 'internet' things ever whilst sat on the sofa.
    The battery life is amazing for watching films when camping etc

    I will NEVER replace my android phone or PC with a Mac but this is a brilliant bit of kit over a laptop or tablet (that you do not use for work)

    Thanks for posting - been waiting for a deal like this without resorting to refurbished. Ordered Friday 3.30pm arrived Sunday 11.45am with included delivery (didn't pay extra for next day). Item was brand new sealed. Gold is more rose gold (i.e. pink!) which takes a bit of getting used to but is ok.

    Anyone else have less than 90 days applecare? Mine said 61 days when I checked. Otherwise got to say I am very impressed so far. One other issue is I am not sure why there are no native apps for kindle or deezer just to name two? Also, is Rosetta going to slow it down that much? Cheers again OP. I’ve upgraded from an old intel mac so new to this.
