You should be able to if you 'semi' freeze your meat first

If anyone onboard the ISS wants to buy one, the ARGOS* satellite will be passing quite close to you about 10:30 tonight.

If you ask nicely, they might just lob one over and save you the postage.

*Yes, there is an ARGOS satellite, launched 23rd Feb 1999 from Vandenburg AFB.

thank you!!
Bad reviews😩
Dont use it on hard potatoes you have to boil yer tatties first - makes the chips taste better anyways!

This thing will break guaranteed if you try and shove a whole tattie into it
Only works with soft veg like cucumber, onions etc

The stainless steel version is the one to go for!

Oooooooh mince!
why has this got so much heat, read the reviews, its a waste of £6, crap quality. A reason why argos wants to get rid
Even the stronger ss types are rubbish. A potato big enough for chips you would consider acceptable are too big.
I look forward to buying this, using it once, eating some chips and relegating the device into a drawer never to be seen again.

Cheers
Ours is broken. Perhaps microwaving the potatoes to soften them, or parboil.
It's a good find based on new price vs old price, but just another kitchen gadget to fill the cupboards. You already have a chip maker at home - it's called a knife!

Is it joining the popcorn maker, slushy maker, fancy juicer that takes hours to clean, candy floss maker, panini grill press, rice cooker, pressure cooker, slow cooker, coffee pod machine, filter coffee maker, egg cooker, and george foreman grill in the back of the cupboard?

Not forgetting the banana multi-slicer, melon cutter, pineapple corer, pizza wheel cutter, poached egg silicone moulds....
The list is endless.....
Hmmm must have a clearout - I hear ebay calling my name!

Could you tell me where this niche butcher of yours is ? I need some squirell's testis for a barbecue at the weekend?
If Argos have no stock left it is also available in The Range at £8.99 therange.co.uk/kit…lus and £9.14 with free delivery from Amazon amazon.co.uk/Met…02E slightly cheaper if you factor in the additional Argos £3.95 p&p charge.
I think its in East Kilbride its called Allahu-snackbar but he is out of Squirrel Testes, does a mean badger peni and ferret fanny but i am afraid he isnt halal.

You should have saved the end bits - they make great waffle moulds!
lol
suitable for preparing cucumber as well as potato.
I have a family of 6, I don’t have the time to use a knife. Any suggestions on a good potato chips cutter, please?
The cutters used in commercial kitchens cost around £600. I don't see a £6 plastic job cutting it....
