Needed a few different seed packets and spotted that the lettuce ones are scanning as £0.02 instead of £0.75.

Nothing advertised on the shelf and the 'sow by' date is December 2026, so they're not expired.

I bought the same seeds a few weeks ago full price and they've produced seedlings, so they're not duds either.

Could be a computer system glitch or something.

I got these in Warrington Cockhedge branch, but I'd imagine the glitch is nationwide.

Barcode and batch number attached, just so you know what codes to look for

Spinach seeds scanned full price, but you could take a gamble on others being affected.

Well spotted.
Accessing the car park is a pain at the moment with all the building work going on but I still like going there because they do have many bargains.

There's definitely a lot more stuff being reduced to clear since it's been a pain in the bum getting past the building work. Less footfall, more stock going unsold, more bargains! 3pm and 6pm are the best times to go yellow sticker hunting, and there's tons of bargains in the cooked meat aisle these days.

Just don't repeat what I did- sowed 250 seeds all at once and put them all in the ground... I thought there might be some variance when they were ready to be harvested, that was not the case
