This came up on my Asda Rewards app - you can convert your rewards to vouchers to spend on school uniform or shoes and get 33% extra in voucher value. So a conversion of £15 in rewards gives a £20 voucher.

I certainly wouldn't do any sort of proper shop in there any more though for the reasons you say. I was surprised to find their basics bread is more expensive than Tesco and Aldi, which shows how low they have sunk. (edited)
