I've got this, it's direct backlit and HDR600 rated

It's quite thick due to the direct backlight.

I'm on my second, bought in Sept 2023 and developed a line on the screen last week, and replaced by Amazon reluctantly only to find the replacement has a blue stuck pixel, Amazon will now only refund me

When I initially got it, I thought it was faulty, on Non-HDR mode, it has one of the most invasive ECO mode backlight controls I've ever seen, it could be hazardous to people who suffer with epilepsy

Just to add, I paid £217 last September and assumed it would be the last stock they got in (edited)

Any good for typical productivity tasks?

    I'd say it's a productivity monitor at 60hz not a gaming monitor.

60hz that's a small TV not a gaming monitor (edited)

it's aimed at console gamers hence the 60hz, given 32" is below the average for a living room "TV" this is targeted for smaller rooms e.g. "man cave", bedroom etc

People who say 27-32" are small TVs were never actually good at a game before.

I'll swear by my life that when I had a 27" in I was different in gaming, then I swapped to a 24" 240 and I was never the same I gave it a lot of tries but it's just so much worse and my vision is 10/10.

Plus if you game on a 4k all games will look better whether you like horror racing or your casual singleplayer FPS game.

1440p in eSports games and you're set as well ❤️‍🩹

My 1440p phone made me hate my 1080p monitors, then I compared side by side the 4k TV I have and other games compared to the 1080p and even while gfx are higher on the pc and more frames it still looks worse than the 4k TV on an Xbox and mind you it's a very budget TV that I hate.

Don't fall for the " this is a TV not a monitor " propaganda ,but maybe, just maybe get at least 100hz 4k monitors. (edited)

32” 60hz, that’s more of a tv than a gaming monitor lol. Trying having dual 32” at a regular size desk, even 27” can be too big at times.

Reading the three star reviews for this monitor on Amazon, I'd save my money for something less flawed.
In short, the firmware is rubbish and the viewing angles are two narrow for use as a workstation monitor.

it's marketed for console gaming so while you could use it for a work station you wouldn't want to
