Might be a good snag if anyone is looking for a 1440p IPS gaming monitor. I understand it’s been cheaper, although there hasn’t been many good IPS deals widely available recently.

If this is a good deal then please let me know! Been looking for something like this to replace an old 2560x1080 ultrawide monitor.

Found this on Curry's Clearance eBay site for £227. Worth getting this monitor or perhaps something like the M27Q V2?

    OOS there too.

The spec and performance of the M27Q V2 is pretty much the same.
The only real difference it the better stand on the GB (which is also height edjustable). (edited)

I've had this monitor. It's good. If you're wanting a IPS 144hz it's not a bad choice. I've moved it on tho

    Is this good for office

It’ll be fine for an office but possibly a bit overkill unless you’re planning to play some sneaky games between working!

Very good price consider it's brand new.

A very good monitor for that price.
Should get quite a bit of heat.

They state 1ms response time. Ignore that, it's MPRT (basically a marketing scam). MPRT requires backlight strobing so looks horrible and will likely give you a headache.
The true response is 4ms GTG. Not the greatest but still plenty good enough.

Extremely low input lag so good for those twitch shooters out there *pewpewpew*.
Motion handling is very good (as you'd expect from an IPS panel).
Always nice to have a height adjustable stand.

The brightness in the specs says 250 nits, which would be low.
The review below shows the actual measured brightness (HDR) is around to 330 nits, that's perfectly respectable.

Contrast ratio isn't the greatest (to be expected with IPS panels, but still good enough for most of us).
The local dimming is awful, do not enable it.

Imagine if monitors just worked immaculately and didn't have burn-in, glow, bleed, dead pixels, smearing, bad black uniformity, poor text rendering, etc.

    I know, I know...a man can dream
