I recently got the Air 6.1 Nightfall Tent from Go Outdoors for £300 new, these Air tents are amazing however in hindsight my 6.1 is absolutely massive and fills the boot of my car; this makes my 6-man tent a realistic 2-man tent because I'm using my rear seats for all the other camping gear; although if you're using this for 6 or 8 people you're going to be using two cars or a crew van I suspect.

I was very sceptical about this air tent as I had a Quechua AIR SECONDS 4.2 from Decathlon and had all sorts of problems with it over the couple of months I owned it. All in all, I prefer the Berghaus as its valves are way better, the pump is included in the price and the bag it comes in is easier to pull because of the wheels; I also found packing this 6 man tent easier on my own than the 4.2 quechua as the bag is more generous in size and quality.

The only recommendation I can give for this tent is when you're packing it away go slow making sure you're rolling out all the air properly, I take my shoes off and walk on the air beams when it's fully deflated to help it along; if you have two people it also makes doing this much easier but on your own it's easily achievable with bit more time.

good advice. I only realy need a 4-6 person but was tempted by this and it seems to be an error price given the other berghaus air tents are not included in the promotion. however i drive an astra and as you say this would not leave me any bootroom for anythign else!

We got the 8.1 from Go Outdoors last summer. We have a Skoda Octavia so around 500 litres of boot space. Went away twice over the summer with the tent, the wife, two kids and the dog. Bit of a squeeze with all of the additional bits and bobs but it worked!
