They are crap.....I've got 3 outdoor blink cameras and the doorbell. They just take too long to connect on live view. Then other times they don't connect at all with a 'live view failed' message.

The doorbell is bad though. By the time you've clicked your your notification someone's rung it and the time it's connected they've gone. Don't think I've had one time where I've managed to actually use it as intended.

Faffed around moving the sync units for better coverage and it's no different. Also WiFi is fine. 150mbps BT.

Don't think any of the blink range are worth it to be honest.

Same here. By the time the video plays on your phone Mr Dpd man has jumped back in his van.

Do you get notifications quickly enough?

I find the camera alerts really laggy since the free subscription ended and I moved onto USB.
Tried the early notification but useless now as I still have to wait for the recording before I can do anything.

I have the doorbell sitting in a box and the above has put me off drilling the holes to install it, considering moving to Ring but don't really fancy having Blink (existing cameras) and Ring.

Can you save locally onto a SD card ?

from what i've read and what people have said i believe you need to get the Sync module and then you can put a USB stick in it to save the video locally.

Do you need one sync module for each device, or one sync module is enough to cover all your devices?

One to cover all devices (edited)

Sounds good minus the Alexa bit

Ordered, came today, the delay is ridiculous around 10 seconds from pressing the button. So it's going back. I'll keep the echo Pop though, works out about £17 after refund for the doorbell.

Anyone know if you can keep the doorbell and just return the pop?
    Cheers in advance

My guess is that you want to be refunded for the pop. Instead of waiting here for a half reliable comment, why don’t you ask Amazon?

I haphazardly removed my long broken old doorbell and there’s a white connector I assume is power? Anyone know if this can be connected to the wired Blink or Ring doorbells? I’ve googled but it’s unclear.
