Nice kettle - if you live in a hard water area avoid this as the black spout is difficult to keep clean

    Goes well with Brita filter.

Looks OK, but it's a Bosch so probably won't last long.

I've got a Bosch styline kettle, it's plastic & it's still going strong after 8years

again. suggest anyone who lives in the hard water area to install a RO filtered water purifier. Never need to descale anything again.

“According to the World Health Organization, low mineral (TDS) drinking water produced by reverse osmosis or distillation is not suitable for long term human consumption and in fact, can create negative health effects to those consuming it.” Not to mention fluoride

don't wanna get into arguement of this. We are living in a reality which if you are taking actions you need to consider tons of proof and researches. not just rely on one single document.

Is this stainless steel as photos seems to suggest a plastic kettle?

This is a bargain. I bought one about 3 months ago (different colour). A little heavy but a world apart from the awful plastic Bosch village thing I had for same price as this. I would definitely have bought this but a little late for me. Great spot OP and heat.
    It’s definitely metal.

"Removable filter in the spout ensures no lumps of limescale get into the water".
Is this a thing in the UK?
    ebjp's avatar
It does build up in the kettle if you don't keep descaling it (in East Anglia anyway). Then lumps can break off and go into you mug.

If no one buys prices keep coming down. There are going to be some bargains to be had allover. Warehouses are only so big
