    "impact drilling in masonry" lol

Yeah if the masonry is soft as cheese. I've had one of these drills for years and although it is a great drill for light stuff you're just going to kill it if you try and drill masonry with any strength.

Like i said, great drill but only really up to smaller more delicate work.

Just to add, it doesnt even have an "Impact function" it has a hammer setting. Two very different things. (edited)

Agree 100%, these will take a boatload of abuse are are worth getting however there are limits to what it can do.

Been using mine on a regular basis along side my Bosch Pro stuff for 6 years and still going strong. What did you use it for to kill it ?

I've commented plenty on this drill & how the earlier model was far better.
Bosch needs to upgrade the batteries & re-visit why the later model is such a damp squib.

These use the Power For All batteries & I haven't seen a good special offer price on these batteries for a very long time.
On the other hand, the Bosch Professional batteries (which do not fit) have had regular deals, which means they are often available for far less than the Power For All. At least for a patient buyer.
So if you need extra batteries for this drill, it may be expensive. (edited)
