sorted byYeah if the masonry is soft as cheese. I've had one of these drills for years and although it is a great drill for light stuff you're just going to kill it if you try and drill masonry with any strength.
Like i said, great drill but only really up to smaller more delicate work.
Just to add, it doesnt even have an "Impact function" it has a hammer setting. Two very different things. (edited)
Bosch needs to upgrade the batteries & re-visit why the later model is such a damp squib.
On the other hand, the Bosch Professional batteries (which do not fit) have had regular deals, which means they are often available for far less than the Power For All. At least for a patient buyer.
So if you need extra batteries for this drill, it may be expensive. (edited)
