My last Bosch drum bearings failed dismally after only 3 years. I was advised by an engineer that certain countries source parts, like bearings, locally. These parts are not of the same quality that you would expect from Bosch.Would not buy Bosch again - they just aren't as robust or reliable as their name suggests.



    just like an lg tv i had. the screen rattled and wasnt bolted properly. the engineer said it depends which country its made in lol and was normal

    2 years with John Lewis (extra £129 for 5 years), all Bosch washers have 2 year parts and labour from the manufacturer anyway, that's what you get from the Co-op.

    Sounds like a good deal but which model was it? Missus wanted the Bosch as its 8kg & 1400 spin... Hence we got this Bosch one.

    I had looked at the Samsungs because of the 5 year warranty but the cheapest equivalent 8kg 1400 spin Samsung WF80F5E0W4W is £409.

    Coincidentally my latest 6 monthly statement from Mid-Counties Coop landed on my doorstep today and again it was 1p per point..The vouchers can spent in store and, unlike most other store reward schemes, can be exchanged for HARD CASH

    Had mine delivered yesterday. Very pleased so far. Nice and quiet. 1400 spin really dries the clothes well. The buttons are very sensitive so set the child lock to stop them being changed if you lean against it !!

    TCB had tracked within 12 hours. Submitted £50 Bosch cash back claim form and receipt online. Coop points payout may be a extra bonus in 6 months time.

    where abouts did you locate the FD number as cant seem to find it on my washer which was delivered yesterday ?

    It's on the back on a big white sticker with the serial number etc. top left on my machine. Call their customer services if you are having difficulty.

    Mine was on sticker on the inside of the door. I've been emailed a VAT receipt by the Co-op. I presume this is sufficient proof to gain the cashback?
