Back in stock..

Bose's original noise-cancelling headphones are back in upgraded form, with even better levels of quiet, an Aware mode, supremely light materials for premium comfort, and proprietary acoustic technology for deep, clear audio. The Quietcomfort QC45 SE wireless headphones offer an ideal balance of quiet, comfort and sound.

This SE special edition of Bose's Quietcomfort QC45 headphones includes a soft carry case.

Acoustic Noise Cancelling
Tiny microphones hidden in the earcups measure, compare and react to outside noise. External sound is cancelled with an opposite audio signal, meaning fewer distractions, and more focus on the music. Choose between Quiet Mode for full noise cancelling, or Aware Mode to let in some surrounding sound.

Aware Mode
Aware Mode keeps you safely aware of the outside world with microphones that pick up the sounds around you, playing them naturally through the headphones. An audio mix of your music and your environment leads to a feeling of not wearing headphones at all.

High fidelity music
Exclusive Bose technologies like TriPort acoustic architecture and Volume-optimised Active EQ deliver high-fidelity music for everything you listen to. So you get better sound from smaller, lighter, more comfortable headphones. Volume-optimised EQ boosts highs and low frequencies for consistency of great sound, at whatever volume you listen.

Personalise your audio
Adjustable EQ allows you to set the bass, mid-range, and treble levels to your personal preferences, or select one of several preset options.

Premium comfort
The Quietcomfort QC45 SE offer premium comfort for your listening. Smooth cushions with no pleats, plush synthetic leather and minimal clamping force keep them comfortable over the long listen. Each pivot-point is built with a cast-metal hinge for durability, and a reinforced headband protects against falls.

Clear conversation
With a fourth external mic, the Quietcomfort QC45 SE offer improved voice pick-up. They isolate and focus on your voice, while a noise-rejecting algorithm filters out environmental sounds for clearer conversations, even in windy, noisy conditions.

Quickly access your voice assistant
You can easily access your phone's voice assistant by pressing and holding the multi-function button.

Easy app control
Use the Bose Music app on your smart device for easy guided set-up and control.

Bluetooth
Connecting over a stable Bluetooth 5.1 connection, you can pair up to two devices and switch seamlessly between them. And with Bose's SimpleSync technology, they pair easily with compatible Bose speakers and soundbars.

Listen longer
The Quietcomfort QC45 SE give you up to 24 hours on a single charge. They charge via USB-C in up to 2.5 hours, and a quick 15-minute charge gives you up to 3 hours of play-time. Or you can still plug in with the included audio cable to listen even longer in wired mode.

Optimised for Bose SimpleSync
This product is optimised for Bose SimpleSync. With SimpleSync technology, you can pair it with selected Bose speakers and soundbars for a personalised listening experience.

For music should I go for these or the 700?

I'm not looking for any of the Sony's. Tried them in a shop and felt like I'm underwater + they're not as comfy. Looking to use on long flights.

bose 700 come out on tops for calling by most reviews, not experience with the qc45 but the 700 is decent.
