This is a cracking price! Even ex-display options I saw were around £450 upwards more than Peter Tyson (eg, from Hifix). I bought my Dali speakers from their ebay store a few months ago and they delivered in about two days ("Open Box" but looked brand new to me!). (edited)

That's far too much power, these speakers aren't even near a good match.

Trying to find a centre speaker from the same series so I could buy with these and connect to AV receiver. Anyone seen at reasonable/reduced price?

So tempting! What av receiver will be enough for these? Thinking to get Denon X3800. Will that be enough?

I’ve got a X4700 and it’s just about enough… still thinking of adding a power amp specifically to drive these separately

Believe it or not Ive been looking for a pair of high quality speakers for a milestone birthday.

Was going to get myself a pair of Wharfedale 12.3s / KEF Q550s /Focal Chora 826 but at this price point I'm going for the B&Ws.

Cheers for posting OP - cant wait to get these next week

How would I connect these speakers to my tv?
    Type_R's avatar

    Using an amp.

However if you have to ask that question they probably aren't for you.

Just bit the bullet. Will drive with my sonos amp. Plus nectar points on eBay! These will hold value too. In fact you might even *make* money if you resell down the line. These will always be in demand.

    Massive thanks OP! (edited)

Reduced from £2400!? Bargain, I do like B&W speakers, too big for me though, they just take up too much room.
    I like the white ones

I have the 705 Signature standmounts, what would people’s thoughts be on switching out those for these floorstanders?
    lamptonpie's avatar
    lamptonpie
Do it! The low and middle will be noticeably improved in my mind.

The 704s are pretty bright, so I’m not sure you’d notice. However, you probably need to hear them side by side to judge. (edited)

Why would you spend £999 on a pair of speakers if you have a £369 amp. The amp is powering those speakers, they can only work with the data that goes into them. Spend £700 on an amp and £500 on speakers!

Sorry for my ignorance, but is there an amp that can also do HDMI earc so that I can output my Apple TV/ps5/Xbox through these speakers? Tv is a LG CX. 1000 pounds would be the budget for it. Thanks for the advice
    reubenno's avatar

You'd be better off getting an AVR amp that has multiple HDMI inputs and connecting all of your devices to the amp, and then e-arc from the amp to the TV.
