I want to get one but the filter cartridges are expensive at £14 each and according to the marketing text it needs replacing every month. Is this really the case are there cheaper cartridges I could buy?

This is what I use. £23 for 6 filters which isn't bad at all really.

The taste difference is huge compared to tap water in my area, not to mention every time you have a drink it's already nice and cold

Been drinking way more water since I got one of these. I held off for ages but would recommend getting one now.

18 quid for 4 filters. How long do they last?

If you have little fridge space height wise, is there a shorter fatter Britta jug you can get?

I've bought a few filter jugs over the years, including some Brita ones, but they have all seemed a complete waste of time and i've stopped using them after a month or so.

Depends on your area and water quality/hardness. If you already have good water the a filter isn’t necessary.

We live in an area with hard water, and using a water filter has made a world of difference to the taste of water and drinks as a result.
