Three novels:

The Hidden Prepper

Civilization has finally reached the breaking point. After an EMP destroys the nation’s power grid, a family’s strength is tested.

An EMP means the end of the world as they know it for a family who fights to survive. When disaster strikes in the form of an EMP, Keith Jameson, and Ted Holder flee to their remote homestead with their families.

Off the Grid

The world stopped seconds after the EMP was detonated. No communication, no transportation, no power. Hundreds of millions of people are suddenly alone and afraid. With food and water in short supply, people are scrambling for resources. But fighting for your next meal might not matter if you can't stay warm during the worst winter storm in years.

The Coldest Night

During the coldest winter on record, an EMP sends American back into the Stone Age. Jack and his family find sanctuary in their cabin in a small, remote town, hidden deep in the forest. Little does Jack know the Blizzard will be the least of his problems.

is it not just a little bit ironic that these are e-books?

No. Same way a paperback copy of Fahrenheit 451 isn't ironic.

Am I the only one who was hoping these would be non-fiction?

"Off the grid"..... but you need to be "on the grid" to read an ebook.

Yes you do, but I'm at a loss to understand the relevance? Are you suggesting people don't write fiction about hypothetical situations that would impact the actual reading of said books if the scenario came true? There wouldn't be many books around if so
