Always good to have a BP monitor at home, as people generally do get higher BP in healthcare settings due to natural stress about the situation. It's more reflective of your true blood pressure.

I would just add with regards to atrial fibrillation (AF) - if you are 40+ years old reading this, it would be worth putting two fingers on your wrist pulse and just making sure it feels regular. It takes like 20 seconds. If it's feels rather irregular, then that's good enough reason to book in with your GP for an appointment and ECG - it may just save you a stroke or blood clot in the lungs. It's effectively what this machine is doing, it's identifying whether the beat is regular or irregular.
