If a fiver is still too much for you then you could use The Too Good To Go app. Toby are on that and you can pick up a carvery or breakfast for around £3.

You couldn’t pay me to go to a Toby carvery. Awful quality of meats

The food isn’t great but I was put off for good when I went to the loo and saw they were using the food trays to catch wee leaking from the urinals

The problem with the O2 app is that you have to give access to your precise location. You can't view by town etc, so you can't plan a day out
    VincentM's avatar
Go on the Toby carvery website and use their branch locator

SANTANDER BOOSTS are doing 2 for £12 again [no set times],used them several times before.

Why not just give it to us for free

They will probably see how this trial run goes first? I know the pizza hut buffet offer was free when they first introduced it on the 02 app. I see it as getting your drink to go with the carvery for free or virtually free depending on what you buy?
  8. mbeischer86's avatar
I assume you could book a table earlier, and just scan the app when you pay after 7PM. £5 Roast is hot especially as I have 1 in walking distance.

For those that say the quality of meat is poor... You obs know nothing. I deliver to these guys (and other carveries) and these have the best quality meats. Whole turkeys, and top side beef. But... Dont leave it late in day, as the meats will have been cooked earlier. Dried meat (and rest) isnt nice, and an after 7 offer isnt good too at a carvery.... Go early but dont knock the quality-just maybe the cooking and/or prep. (edited)

Went to my local for my birthday last week and ate my own body weight in food.

Let’s just say I regretted it the next day ..

And their was me thinking that as you get older you put more weight on was just an Old Wive's tale.

I suspect it will be but we'll know for sure on Monday? Pity it's only for use after 7pm.

A bit like this deal the food after 7pm is usually stale and cold. U might as well just get a too good to go for 3 quid and collect an hour or so later
  14. zarg's avatar
The amount of people I see who go to Toby and get a king size plate and unlimited fizzy drink is mortifying. Don't fall for the trap of tripling your daily calorie intake in one sitting.
    Pondlife's avatar
Given the drinks are mostly the sugar free ones they aren't adding many calories that way
  15. sarkymark1's avatar

I like it now and again but I'm sure the people who cut the meat have been to college to learn how to cut it so thin lol.
    Cleanrug's avatar
It’s as thin as rice paper

good deal if youre a fan of gristle and fatty beef

Pity it's just after 7pm that you can use it. If it's just a QR code that you need to scan then just screenshot it. Then visit whichever Toby you want. It won't have to be your nearest one. As it's a food offer it might only work on the day you screenshot it. Which is what I've found with the Greggs food offer.
    Skol's avatar
Most priority QR codes time out and the shop needs to see the timer with the QR code to accept it. Some don't care but a lot are jobs worths!
  19. MagicGS's avatar
Love a Toby. £10.99 with the crumble is worth it.

This works out cheaper than the Meercat Meals offer which is 25% off Monday to Thursday - however the o2 priority voucher can only be used after 7pm! (edited)
  24. JP84's avatar
If anyone is going tomorrow. Can they be there at 6 and pay after 7! It should work but depends on the staff, I guess.
  25. YourWellWisher's avatar
Would it work by switching phone's location then going thru a vpn?

    Gobbie's avatar
no, They've got little heaters underneath to keep it warm... it'll be fiiiine!
  27. CheekyMunkey's avatar
What app do you need for this? I'm with Virgin. I don't even use the app that tracks my usage etc. Got emailed from Virgin to say there are switching to o2 and my data allowance will go from 40gb to 100gb per month.
    Mooney_70's avatar
It's the 02 priority app give it a try and download it.
