    No, in comparison to the £100 M5610, the chassis on this is the steel one with screwback cover instead of the resin type with back plate scewed on with 4 corner screws. Much more premium tank like build, a bit heavier

    This watch is not available in UK. I think whilst pricey, it will last without any maintenance or tinkering.

    Yeah I noticed that after ordering. But in my experience with Amazon it's never as long as they state. Most I've ever waited was 2-3 weeks when it said it was 2-6 months.

    It always amazes me how much this watch goes for over the GW-5600. Its a lot extra for a screw down caseback.

    I love this watch, I paid a similar price for the Japanese version a couple of years ago. A good weighty, quality feel.

    The 1JF version is exactly the same as 1ER. But I think the Japanese version comes in a cardboard box intead of the metal tin. The watches are exactly the same, manufactured in the same factory on the same production line.

    I think because it is 'Made in Japan' it carries a premium price tag.
