    Heat for the price.

Please bear in mind that the Chad Valley set has alot of repetition to achieve that big number - so it's fine for a bunch of kids to share, but disappointing for an individual arty kid (I was one, so I speak from experience).

These are both aimed at younger kids (crayon heavy). If you've got a young creator of 6+, I'd say skip it - get a set of pencils/pens with more colour variation. Quantity ≠ Quality (edited)

You hero! Saved me a purchase. Thank you.

A loada tat. Ten of the same colours in every medium. Waste of money, and it definitely ain't as big (in size) pic is deceptive. As the first poster says, go for quality over quantity.

Little kids don't need a pro art set and at least having so many of each colour it'll last a while.

it definitely ain't as big (in size) pic is deceptive.

It is actually pretty big -

Is that box nearly the same size as that little girl ?
    Andrew_Smart's avatar
Small child, but yes. These things are massive

Is that girl 4 inches tall? She's photoshopped in, so it's pretty difficult to tell what's real. Why can't companies just photograph someone with their product?
    The.Fat.Cat's avatar
It's an international product and as not all countries are as happily diverse as we are, they'd have to get models of all different races for the photo shoots.

Easier for them to just have stock images of kids they can PS onto everything.

Not saying it's good, it's just why they do it. (edited)
