sorted byIf you have a spare/oldish 4 port Gigabit router (most of them are) , that will act as a switch too. (Albeit, you will get a max of 3 or 4 Gigabit ports). I have done it before. Totally unmanaged and straight forward option !

Have to be a little careful though, if you're using an old ISP router and the DHCP is turned on on the LAN side, it could cause issues on your LAN, so it'd be best to turn it off and configure the routers LAN and Wireless Interfaces to be in your main LAN (use IP addressing, DNS & gateway from your main LAN).
Still voted hot due to the price, but I think the TP link switches are better and more efficient and amazon got many on offer also. (edited)
