Don't forget the approx. £80/100 USD visa on arrival cost complete con. Visas are such a big money making scam shouldnt exist in this day and age.

Uk passport holders do not have to pay for a visa if staying under 90 days.

What's it like price-wise in Antigua & Barbuda for say a beer or a meal out? Just seen the currency is East Caribbean Dollars which I'd not yet heard of, £1 to $3.3

We did the Caribbean earlier this year, we didn't do Antigua & Barbuda, however visited a few islands. generally, beer and alcohol etc works out very cheap, although food generally worked out expensive. Unfortunately the exchange rate doesn't help going from the U.K. right now.

Yet it is over £208 for a return train ticket for Southampton to Glasgow, a mere 600 ish miles. Sometimes there is no reason

600 miles of tracks, electrical lines, signal cabling, trackside, trackside fencing, intermediate stations, level-crossings etc to maintain.
