Amazon already matched the price by the way, so if you have Prime you can also order there for the same price.

  • 1.8 m cable with USB connection for use on the laptop and PC

For anyone considering this mice for gaming, I'd stay well clear.

According to Cherry product page this uses the PixArt 3212 sensor which is their low-end optical sensor.

    Here's the specs sheet:

Compare this to Logitech's "Mercury" sensor that is considered to be flawless and it's night and day. https://sensor.fyi/sensors/

The Mercury sensor can be found in mice as cheap as Logitech's G203 for £19.99. Yes it is 4x the price, but 4x the price of very cheap is still very cheap, especially for the performance leap you're getting.

This Cherry mice will probably be fine for office tasks (Cherry advertises this as "The modern allrounder for every budget" after all). Cherry and PixArt sensor are two well-known brands so I guess there's that.

Personally I'd go for the Logitech M185 (~£10) or M220 SILENT (~£11) instead as these are wireless and have very long battery life for not much more money. (edited)
