sorted byI’d say you’ve been very unlucky having a Citizen fail after 5 years. I have seven eco drives two of which are around 15 years old and still going strong. Should an Eco Drive stop working and it’s not for the lack of artificial or natural light then in all likelihood it’s the capacitor that needs replacing. As long as you obtain the correct capacitor for your model watch it’s as easy to replace as a conventional battery powered quartz watch, then just leave in natural or artificial light for 24hrs or so to be up a running again.
