We used this at Mottisfont abbey yesterday, the lady at the till said they don't scan the barcodes but they have a button on the till to press. So they could technically be used again

Seems like a generic barcode...again. So yes, multiple entry.
    stuartie94's avatar
Yep can confirm it's generic. I claimed two just to see and they are the exact same.

Lyme Park, Quarry Bank Mill and Dunham Massey are all worth a visit (and included in the offer). See nationaltrust.org.uk/vis…ter

During our visit they were making sure that this is a email from reach PLC. I had just kept the barcode open and they requested to scroll up to see the sender . In my case I had it .

Apparently you NEED a newspaper voucher as well as the email.
    Stillere's avatar
No you don't, it says this:

To redeem the free National Trust family pass, you will need to cut out the in-paper voucher or present the email with your free family pass to a member of staff at your chosen National Trust site. Mobile coverage may be limited at the National Trust property you choose to visit, please download to your device, or print the email.

    andywedge's avatar

Reach Media / PLC is the umbrella for all the options - so just select your local newspaper eg if from Manchester, select Manchester Evening News

    Every place is different
Easiest thing to do is to add your postcode here and have a look nationaltrust.org.uk/search

Which is the best place to visit in London
    Roger_Irrelevant's avatar
That's just such a nonsense question on so many levels.

Install the NT app on your phone, and browse the many properties near you, to see which one takes your (subjective) fancy.
  14. BenzBoy's avatar
Will this work at Stonehenge? I know that's English Heritage but I was able to use it via one of the HUKD codes last year. Only if I could remember!
    Roger_Irrelevant's avatar
    No.

As a basic rule or thumb, EH do piles of stones, sometimes they're cemented together so former defensive or religious ruins.

NT do finer properties, so well furnished, dry posh mansions within exquisitely maintained gardens.

I like both BTW, but would rather pay for the latter. (edited)

"Each claimant will receive a family day pass allowing up to 2 adults and 3 children or 1 adult and 4 children to enter a National Trust site for free."
That reads as 'Yes' 2 adults only is OK

Painless process - thanks for sharing. Sadly here in Northern Ireland we don't have as many awesome locations to visit, however I can brag that I have visited all the National Trust sites in Northern Ireland, I even bought an annual pass a few times! Although I think I have done Patterson's spade mill enough times now!

Do they just scan the generated barcode or do they check your registered email address when you turn up?

Asking for 10 of my friends asking the same question.
    andywedge's avatar
    Author
They've only ever scanned my barcode. The same goes for my ten friends too.
