Good reduction on this illuminating glass and stainless steel kettle with a 1.7L capacity, marked down to £22.50 at Argos.

Free Click & Collect from Stores.

This Cookworks glass kettle is ideal for catch-up-with-friend's cuppas and help-me-wake-up coffees. Its transparent glass design not only looks pretty swanky but means that you can always keep an eye on the water level. It also illuminates blue when in use, flashy ay!

The cordless design allows you to easily transport it to the hob to boil some veggies and to the sink to refill it. And while we're talking about refilling, its automatic opening lid also helps make filling up a breeze - there's no fiddling about with a screw-on lid.

  • Colour: glass.
  • Glass exterior.
  • Glass interior.
  • Boil dry protection - automatically switches off when the kettle is empty.
  • 1.7 litre capacity.
  • Push button operated lid.
  • Removable and washable limescale filter.
  • 360 degree base.
  • 0.75m cable from base to plug.
  • 1.08kg when empty.
  • Manufacturer's 1 year guarantee.

The latch does not stay in the same position, therefore the lid is either tight to close or opens by itself. Can't recommend.

I've got this exact kettle and I can't say I've had any issues. It's going strong now for 3 years 🤷🏻‍♂️ which is certainly longer than the previous one I had.

If this is the 3kw kettle, it's worth it. I'm sure youbget a 2 year warranty. It boils fast! I wish they made a kettle that was like a thermos flask. Keep the temperature and only need a few seconds to boil it again if needed

Thanks OP. A friend of mine has one of these and it looks great. Visible scale tends to build inside the glass at the base but works OK. Just means use filtered water or clean kettle more often.
Reviews to some say they suffered leaks from the bottom, but my friends hasn't. Maybe gimmick with the blue light but worth the price just for this.

I have had one of these for a few years now and it has worked really well.
