On a tangent, I am slowly getting to grips with my Quansheng UV K5 (8). First impressions. Air Band reception not that fantastic but probably because of my location but a nearby repeater gave very good clear reception. FM radio is excellent. More later. Tried NOAA but not much orbiting above me
