Poduct Description
  • Pizza Margherita Tomato, Mozzarella & Sicilian Oregano

  • To make pizzas as authentic and delicious as any pizzeria in Italy, our starting point has always been the base. From a 'mother dough' starter, we create sourdough pizza bases in the traditional Neapolitan style. After slow-proving for 24 hours, we fire them in a wood oven before we add our toppings by hand.
  • Don't underestimate Margherita's simplicity; its ingredients are laid bare and only the best will do. Our sauce follows a traditional recipe using just tomatoes, olive oil and salt. Over that, we add creamy Italian fior di latte mozzarella, plus a generous sprinkling of aged Italian cheese for good measure. Then, as a final flourish, a scattering of oregano from Sicily.

  • 'Altogether Italian'
  • In Italy, few things matter more than good food. It's a deep-rooted belief in the power of food to bring people together, a belief we share at Crosta & Mollica.

  • Not Suitable for Vegetarians

  • Slow Proved & Wood Fired
  • Great taste 2019

  • Pack size: 403G

Have a look at catima app on Android. I use it for all loyalty, membership and gift cards. Snap a card in the app and have them all in one place. Free and open source app.

Sainsbury has 2 pack for £5.25. How this is a deal?

The twin pack pizzas are smaller.
Tesco works out at 93p per 100g
    Sainsbury's 2pk at £1.20 per 100g (edited)

that's how much a Margherita would normally costs in a pizzeria in Italy

Yeah but the return airfare bumps it up a bit...

I need this in my life, but not at ,£5.10. God love you Tesco. I'm filling the freezer.

    Gonna need a bigger freezer.

Last time they went down, there was also a buy 4 pay for 3 offer on these too. I went a tad mad and got 12 of them. 6 Margherita & 6 Stromboli.
    Fingers crossed it happens again.

    Best frozen pizza in UK.
Stick to the Margherita or the Stromboli though.
As any good Italian knows, pesto should NEVER be cooked.

    Good frozen pizza

How do these compare to the sourdough pizzas at Aldi and Lidl? I think they’re heavier and £3.99ish!? Thanks in advance.

Personally I think these are a lot better. Give them a go.

The Stromboli Spicy Salami one too, that's the best one they do. Didn't like the pesto one, smelt and tasted horrible. Don't like hot pesto, smells like B.O.

Burnt the roof of my mouth with that salami. The crust was rock hard as well. Are the crusts softer if you don't overbake like I must've? (edited)

Nice find, we stopped getting these once price went over £4. Zizzi pizza is normally near by and not a bad substitute.

    Love these!
I defrost mine before cooking and slap on some Pavarotti (The singer not some strange sauce ) for that Italian vibe
