The REAL reason it is cheap is simply a flood in the market of old tech, the big boys are not buying it (Dell, HP, Lenovo) and that Assembly Plant is back up to full capacity recently since COVID, so they need to off-load it somewhere. For everyone else, pick it up now whilst it is cheap and before the lion's share of their facility, as with everyone else, moves over to DDR5. Don't wait for it to become cheap(er), as it will get expensive very, very quickly as stocks dry up.
Price seems to have jumped back up to £27. The 2x8gb kit has just dropped from £31.49 to £28.49 if anyone needs dual channel. (edited)
